On a hot summer afternoon on Monday, June 21, more than 100 Monroe-Woodbury varsity athletes and coaches gathered one last time to celebrate the successes of the varsity athletic teams in the past school year.
At the event students participated in games and several awards were given out, including:
Female Freshman Athlete of the year: Brooke Reese;
Male Freshman Athlete of the year: Kyle McDermott;
Varsity Club Inductees Keith Allen, Tyler Anderson, Matthew Bezdicek and Brian Whitfield;
Male Senior Athlete of the Year Cam Adams; and
Female Senior Athlete of the Year Meghan Catherwood.
