Central Valley. M-W announces its Buses of the Month for January 2023
Each month, the Monroe-Woodbury School District recognizes school buses where students demonstrate characteristics of a true Crusader: respectful, compassionate and well-behaved.
These buses represent a collaborative effort by students, drivers and attendants who work as a team to keep the bus safe.
Congratulations to January’s honorees:
Central Valley Elementary School Bus #611
Driver: Laura Ippoliti
“My Central Valley students are wonderful. We travel from Central Valley to Tuxedo each and every day. So, one could say that they are with me for a while. We enjoy each other’s company and I consider them to be a bus family. They respect each other and they all get along great. They have some differences, but all in all they work it out. They follow my directions each and every day and they have followed the safety rules of Bus #611 since day one. They understand why safety is so important. They are a pleasure to have on the bus and I am very lucky to have them this year. Great group of kids. Thank you to the parents as well!
Monroe-Woodbury Middle School Bus# 594
Driver: Andrea Mikell
“These children have worked so hard on their manners, behaviors, listening skills, safety and their respect for others. They have come a long way. This challenge has been a lot of work, but we achieved it.”
Sapphire Elementary School Bus #628
Driver: Evelyn Miller
“The students have shown great signs of improvement. They follow directions very well. They ride the bus in the correct manner without screaming and remain seated. I’m very proud of this group.”
