Brain Lifvergren graduates from Officer Candidate School

HARRIMAN — Brain Lifvergren from Harriman recently graduated from Officer Candidate School and was commissioned a second lieutenant at the Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala.

Lifvergren will be assigned to the New York Air National Guard at the 105th Airlift Wing at the Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh.

He will serve as a civil engineering officer in the 105th Civil Engineering Squadron.

Lifvergren graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 2008 and the University of Delaware in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering.

He lives and works in Manhattan, where he is currently a commissioning engineer at the Syska Hennessy Group.
