As if the Thruway’s Exit 16 closures aren’t enough to make motorists spit out a few choice words, The state Department of Transportation has announced updates to the traffic pattern on Route 32 that will become effective in the next few days. Route 32Motorists on Route 32 will experience a new traffic pattern. Northbound traffic will be shifted to the east to create a safe and unobstructed work zone in the median. Both directions of traffic will remain in the current configuration over the Route 17 bridge.Route 17Construction activities will continue on Route 17 also continue.RampsConstruction activities will continue on ramps located within the work zone.Located in the town and village of Woodbury, the Town of Monroe, and the Village of Harriman, the Route 17 at Route 32/ Exit 131 construction project will feature a diverging diamond interchange.
