Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling donated 50 fully stocked backpacks to the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club’s annual Backpacks for Hope School Supply Drive.

The backpacks will be distributed to children in need throughout northern Orange and Sullivan counties. The effort began in July and accepted donations included notebooks, markers, pens, pencils, pencil cases, erasers, glue sticks, folders, and three-ring binders.

Nebrasky team member Eddie Sayer donated 20 of every item on the list.

“This is the seventh year we’ve participated in the Backpacks for Hope initiative, and we continue to be impressed with the generosity of our neighbors and team members,” Nebrasky owner Paul Nebrasky said. “We are especially grateful to Eddie, who invested so much personally to support school kids across the region, and Michele Ross, our customer service representative and dispatcher who coordinates our involvement in this initiative every year.”
