William E. Dixon of Monroe passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. He was 71 years old.
The son of Florence (Tanner) and Robert W. Dixon, he was born on June 16, 1950, in Tuxedo.
Prior to his retirement, William worked in Human Resources for Wakefern, Inc. in Edison, N.J. He was also an active member and a former Recording Secretary for the Italian American Club in Edison, N.J.
William is survived by his children: daughter Victoria Dixon Dahms and her husband Timothy of Closter, N.J.; son Michael Dixon and his husband Christopher Wright of Madison, Conn.; and son David Dixon of Goshen; in addition to four grandchildren: Cassandra, Amelia, Archer and Corinne. He is also survived by his brother Robert Dixon and his wife JoyAnn of Goshen. In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his wife Sunday Dixon and his sister Barbara Fowler.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Memorial Visitation was held Oct. 27 at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. A Funeral Service was held at the funeral home on Oct. 28, followed by burial of cremains at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe.
