Vincent Scancarello of Monroe passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. He was 81 years old.
The son of Bridget DiBiase and Salvatore Scancarello, he was born in the Bronx on March 12, 1939.
Vincent was a provisions distributor for Scancarello & Sons in Middletown and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Vincent is survived by his wife Rosemarie Moricco Scancarello at home in Monroe; and by four sons: Salvatore (Christine) Scancarello; Vincent Scancarello Jr.; Michael (Catherine) Scancarello; and Nick (Tricia) Scancarello, all of Monroe; his two sisters Annette Johnson and Linda Cimillo. Vincent was the grandfather to 11 grandchildren: Vincent, Nicole, Vincent, Gianna, Toni, Salvatore, Nick, Marissa, Michael, Anthony and Vittoria.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Dec. 26 at St. Anastasia Church, 21 N. Main St., Harriman.
Interment followed at St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.
