Suzanne B. Dietrich, a 46-year area resident, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at her home in Monroe. She was 81 years old.

The daughter of Raymond Baxter and Marguerite Slane Baxter, Suzanne was born on April 6, 1940, in Flushing, New York.

She was the widow of William L. Dietrich.

She was a devoted wife, mother of four daughters and a loving grandmother. She was an avid sun lover, who enjoyed biking through her Florida community. She loved taking her daughters and grandchildren out for a good meal. She was a busy mother taxiing her children to and from their many activities and later returned to work. Suzanne retired from Troll Communications in Mahwah, New Jersey, where she worked as a Data Specialist.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe and a member of the Women’s Golf League at Riverbend Golf Club.

Survivors include her daughters: Denise Dietrich-Dorney and her husband Daniel of Monroe, Lisa Dietrich of Monroe, Michele Semco and her husband Darin of Slate Hill, and Karyn Dietrich-Wiemann and her husband Charlie Wiemann of Bellmore; sister Andrea Baxter Schneider of Naples, Florida; and nine grandchildren: Courtney, Daniel, Billy, Brooke, Rylee, Cristen, Kyle, Samantha and Ava.

Visitation was held May 2 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.

A Funeral Mass was held May 3 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe.

Interment followed in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
