Robin L. Serra

Robin L. Serra of Maybrook passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 62 years old.
The daughter of John J. and Margaret Nash Hughes, she was born Dec. 20, 1955, in Nyack.
Robin was a home health aide with First Choice Senior Services of Goshen and was a loyal supporter of the Humane Society of Walden.
Survivors include her loving husband Thomas P. Serra at home; her stepchildren: Paul Serra and Dawn Roberts of Scottsdale, Arizona; her brothers John Hughes of Campbell Hall, James Hughes of Tennessee and Donald Hughes of Arkansas; her sister Jacqueline Hughes of Walden; her grandchildren Cole and Cara; and many nieces and nephews. Robin was predeceased by her sister Linda Barker.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. with a memorial service at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY 10950.
