Lorraine P. Tomasi of South Blooming Grove passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. She was 81 years old.
The daughter of Harry and Carmela “Millie” Inzinna, she was born in Brooklyn on June 26, 1938.
Lorraine was the Director of Education for The ARC of Orange County in Middletown. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe and St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville.
Lorraine enjoyed being a member of Merriwold Ladies Luncheon, Red Hat Ladies and Blue & Gold Seniors in Washingtonville.
Survivors include her two children: Peter Tomasi and his wife Noeleen Casey-Tomasi of Port Jervis, and Susan Tomasi of Brooklyn; her sister Marion Inzinna of Philadelphia, Pa.; and her three grandchildren: Harry, Liam and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Goshen Ave., Washingtonville.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd., Woodside.
