Joseph J. Simeone of Harriman, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Wayne Memorial hospital, Honesdale, Pa. He was 54 years old.
He was born on June 19, 1967, in Nyack to Victor A. and Nancy J. (Carroll) Simeone, Virginia Beach, Va.
Also surviving are his son, Joseph D. Simeone; his two sisters and brothers-in-law: Amy and Jim Bonnell, Highland Lakes, N.J., and Jennifer and John Starzec, Monroe; nieces and nephews Michael (Vera) Cabrera, Haley Starzec, John Moore and Alyssa Moore; and great nephew, Jaxson.
Joe was a volunteer at the Sacred Heart Parish Outreach where he worked in the warming station and the furniture donation program.
He was an avid New York Giants fan and Yankees fan.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his dog, “Chupie” and his friends and family.
A Memorial Mass was held Nov. 19 at Sacred Heart Church, 126 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
