John F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy of Cornwall entered into rest on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. He was 54 years old.

The son of John and Catherine O’Brien Kennedy, he was born June 22, 1961, in the Bronx.

Survivors include his brother Michael Kennedy and his wife Linda of Salisbury Mills; his sister Maureen Kennedy of Monroe; his nephews Brian Kennedy of Brooklyn, TJ Kennedy of Kingston and Michael Kennedy of Newburgh; and his niece Tina Sarro of Kissimmee, Florida.

John worked for many years doing home improvement, siding, roofing and painting and took pride in his work.

He enjoyed sports and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 13 at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.

Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory.
