James Herrmann

James Herrmann of Warwick, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went peacefully into God’s arms on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Goshen.
James will always be remembered for the exceptional attention and care he gave to his wife, his great sense of humor, his willingness to always lend a helping hand and for being a real gentleman.
Survivors include his daughters: Joan Lutz and her husband Richard of Monroe and Jane Roberts and her husband Alan of Warwick; grandchildren Karen Farley and her husband Kevin of Monroe, Richard Lutz Jr. of Monroe and Kristen Lutz of Monroe; and two great-grandchildren: Connor and Ashlin Farley.
James was predeceased by his loving wife Catherine and granddaughter Kerry Anne Lutz.
James’ family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Valley View for the outstanding care and kindness they provided him.
They also wish to acknowledge the friendships he made and the sense of community he experienced with his fellow residents at Valley View.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Oct. 15 at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.
Interment will follow in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
