Carole L. Griffin of Goshen entered into rest Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Garnet Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 74 years old.
Carole was born Aug. 29, 1946, in Union City, N.J., the daughter of Warren and Vera (Steinel) Schutz.
She taught in the Goshen School District for 43 years as a reading teacher.
She is survived by her husband Howard L. Griffin at home; son Scott Griffin and wife Charlene and their daughter Lacey of Rhode Island; brother Roger Schutz and wife Adrienne of Florida, along with a large family and many close friends.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N.J., on Saturday, Jan. 9.
