Skating into 2023 on the Millponds

The Millponds froze just before New Year’s, offering all a place to skate, and some did.
“Skating is at your own risk,” said Kim Zahra, Village of Monroe clerk. “The flags indicate whether the ice is thick enough. Red means not thick enough. Green means it’s thick enough to skate.”
