The 23rd annual Monroe CROP Walk for the Hungry will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27. Registration is at 2 p.m., the walk starts at 2:30 p.m.
The walk will begin at the Monroe United Methodist Church, located at 47 Maple Ave., in Monroe.
The CROP Walk's purpose is to raise funds for the relief of hunger both here in Monroe and throughout the world. Some of the funds raised will be used by Church World Service to aid victims of hurricanes and other natural disasters in the U.S.
