Middletown. Catholic Charities golf outing supports community programs
Reservations are now open for Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster’s 17th annual Golf for Charity Outing, to be held on Monday, Sept. 18, at West Hills Country Club in Middletown.
The event supports Catholic Charities community-based programs such as food, shelter and addiction assistance and immigration legal aid.
Golfers will be greeted with a light breakfast during the check-in reception and the “scramble” format will tee off with a 10 a.m. shotgun start and a barbecue lunch will be served on the course. Prizes, raffles and other festivities will wrap up the day with a buffet dinner under the tent. Contests include hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin and longest drive.
Those interested in participating in the Golf for Charity Outing are encouraged to lock in their reservations as soon as possible. The fee per foursome is $875, or $230 for individual golfers. A variety of sponsorship opportunities – including tee signs for only $150 – are available.
Golf Outing sponsors confirmed to date are Mediacom Communications, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of NY, EPIC Insurance Brokers, Armistead Mechanical, Webster Bank, Resorts World Catskills and Ulster Savings Bank. Healey Brothers will return as the host of the hole-in-one contest.
