Citizens Foundation elects William Dauster, Amy Noteboom and Lyle Shute to Board of Trustees

The Orange County Citizens Foundation announced the appointment of new trustees who began a two-year term on Jan. 1.

William Dauster, Amy Noteboom and Lyle Shute share the Citizens Foundation dedication to improve quality of life for all residents in the region.

William Dauster

William Dauster has been in health care fund-raising and marketing for 38 years and currently serves as president of the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation. He has been a certified fund-raising executive since the mid-90's, and served as the founding president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Westchester Chapter. Bill is a member of the Wallkill East Rotary Club, and has served on the Constitution Island Association Board since 2006, currently serving as Development Chair.

An avid hiker, he is a member of the AMC 4000 Footer Club of the White Mountains and volunteers as a fire tower observer at Balsam Lake Mountain in the Catskill Mountains. He resides in Oakland, N.J.

Amy Noteboom

Amy Noteboom, and her husband, Tim, own Bellvale Farms Creamery located in Warwick. She serves on the Citizens Foundation Agriculture Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Warwick Historical Society.

She is a past Board member of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce and serves on that organization's AppleFest Committee.

Amy and Tim live in Warwick with their two children.

Lyle R. Shute

Lyle Shute is a partner in the engineering firm McGoey, Hauser and Edsall, DPC. His area of practice is mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering.

Lyle is an avid outdoor enthusiast and ninth generation descendant of William Bull and Sarah Wells, early European settlers in Orange County.

He is a Leadership Orange graduate and has served on the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town of Hamptonburgh.
