The program features the Concert Band Brass and Percussion under the baton of guest conductor Robert Ponto from the University of Oregon. It will include works by J.S. Bach and Johannes Brahms as well as music by Elton John and selections from the Harry Potter movies.
The West Point Band opens its 2020 Masterworks Concert Series with members of the Concert Band Brass and Percussion in a performance titled “Top Brass!” at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, in West Point.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Sunday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m.
