‘The Fullest Measure.’ A grieving mother writes the story of a young soldier and Blackhawk pilot who died in a military training exercise

Danny Prial was a soldier, West Point graduate, New York National Guard pilot, brother, friend, athlete and son.

His life ended tragically in January 2021 in a helicopter crash during a military training exercise in upstate New York.

“The Fullest Measure: A Story of Courage, Loss, and a Mother’s Love” by Anne Leavy-Prial is a unique telling of Danny’s life, his connections, friendships and legacy.
