SUNY Orange presents two-woman art show

Middletown — Interpretations in Several Media - Artworks by Raisa DeFusto and Catherine DeMaio will be on exhibit at the Orange Hall Gallery Loft, at SUNY Orange, through July 19. An artists reception will be held on Sunday, June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. This two-woman show features oils, watercolors, pastels and collages. DeMaio is a resident of Middletown, who is a working artist and art teacher. She teaches classes in cartoon drawing for both adults and children, and is a member of several art groups, including the North East Watercolor Society, the Middletown Art Group, the River Valley Artists Guild, and the Garrett Society. DeFusto is a resident of Fairport, N.Y. and the mother-in-law of Elizabeth Tarvin, of Goshen. Her love of nature is the inspiration for her paintings.
