ALIVEmusica continues its highly acclaimed free concert series with an online performance by the Lark Thurber Duo. This streamed performance will premiere on Sunday, April 11, at 8 p.m. and can be viewed through the websites of each of ALIVEmusica’s co-sponsors: the Howland Chamber Music Circle, Newburgh Chamber Music and Pawling Concert Series, as well as media sponsor Classical WMHT FM.
Award-winning violinist Tessa Lark and composer and virtuoso bassist Michael Thurber have come together to create a duo unlike any other. By fusing together their classical and American music influences, Lark and Thurber have created a wholly original sound which they bring to audiences around the country in a charismatic live show.
The concert program will feature original compositions by the artists as well as some tried and true works by J.S. Bach.
Set in the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, this performance will remain accessible online through Sunday, April 25.
As with every ALIVEmusica concert, the performance is free to view, but a voluntary $20 donation in support of the artists and co-sponsors is suggested.
