Hudson Valley Fiesta Latina set for Aug. 17 at Museum Village

The 10th annual Hudson Valley Fiesta Latina takes place on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Museum Village in Monroe to celebrate a shared love for the U.S. by infusing Latino influence with the richness of American culture.
Chico Alvarez and Mafimba Band and Jeremy Torres will perform live music, as will a special guest. Fun-filled activities and games are planned, along with appearances by noted speakers, book giveaways, vendors, food trucks and more.
This free event will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with free admission and parking.
As part of the celebration, awards will be presented to Orange County Sheriff Paul Arteta and Ulster County Sheriff Juan Figueroa for outstanding law enforcement leadership, and Walden Savings Bank CEO Derrick Wynkoop will be recognized for his continued support for Hudson Valley Fiesta Latina and the Latino community.
Additionally, there will be a 65th Infantry Regiment “Borinqueneers” exhibit of the Puerto Rican Army unit.
