Historical Society to host Greek Heritage Program

Newburgh — The Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands will host a Greek Heritage Program on Sunday, Oct. 17, beginning at 3 p.m. at The Newburgh Heritage Center. Panelists will include Hope Stephano, Marian Apostolou-Baldwin, Penelope Karageorge, Spiros Chumas and other members of the Greek community. They will discuss Newburgh’s rich Greek culture, businesses, neighborhoods, church life and traditions. Visitors should bring photographs and memories to share. Members are free. For non-members there is a suggested donation of $5. The Newburgh Heritage Center is located at 123 Grand St., in Newburgh, NY.
