Fishing for a great meal on Election Day?
Goshen There’s no need to get out your fishing pole and head for the lake. Just head for the First Presbyterian Church in Goshen instead for a fabulous fish and chips dinner. Once more the Mission Committee at the church will host a tasty fish and chips dinner, complete with fish, chips, coleslaw, condiments, beverage and homemade dessert. Ticket price is $12.50 per dinner. The dinner will be held on Election Day Tuesday, Nov. 2. Doors open at 5 p.m. for takeout orders and seating for dining in will begin at 5:30 p.m. Because of the event’s popularity, it’s best to purchase tickets in advance, available at the First Presbyterian Church office, 33 Park Place, Goshen, daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Liz’s Place Salon (open Tuesday to Saturday, late nights Wednesday and Friday until 7 p.m.), and Joe’s Fix Its (open 8:30 to 5:30 daily; Wednesday until 8:30 p.m.).
