Craft workshop for kids at museum

Goshen — The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame will hold a children’s workshop on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10:30 a.m. to noon — a fun-filled morning of crafts, games and a ride on the Harness Racing 3-D Simulator. Children age 3 through 11 will create a cuddly and soft horse mini-pillow, crafted from felt, that’s just right for hugs. They can let their imaginations design their own mini-pillow that can take a ride in their backpacks or rest in their rooms. Each one is guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind equine. Admission to the Harness Racing Museum’s Family Craft Workshop, which includes all activities, is $5 for one child and one adult. Reservations are encouraged.
