'A Fool's Cabaret' on April Fools' day
SUGAR LOAF — "A Fool's Cabaret" offers an evening of April Fools’ tomfoolery and surprises, loosely based on the theme of the Tarot, on Friday, April 1, in the Kurt Seligmann studio.
Presented in a cabaret environment, the evening will feature experimental works including soundscapes, live video projection, visual multimedia, music, spoken word, dance, and theatrical performances. "A Fool's Cabaret" is produced and directed by David Horton and Adrianne Louise Mamet.
A Troupe of Fools is a loosely formed group of people interested in sharing their creative delight through various artful practices, including but not limited to: Jonas Bers, James Brehm, Sinead MacLeod, Craig Chin, David Horton, Elise Huebner, Brandon Knopp, Adrianne Mamet, Hannah Maxwell, Cody Rounds, Vincent Tavani, Olivia Baldwin and John Red Wood.
The cost is $10 and the cabaret begins at 8 p.m.
The Seligmann Center is located at 23-26 White Oak Drive, Sugar Loaf.
