MONROE — Close to 500 people attended the South Orange Family YMCA’s annual Halloween Family Festival on Oct. 20.
“This great community event that had something for all ages,” said Y Executive Branch Director Ross Miceli. “This was made very affordable so it could be made available to all families, even those on fixed incomes.
"This event brought the community together and allowed families to take part in organized activities and crafts together," he added. "As children and families look back on this event, it’s my hope they created great, long-lasting memories that will follow them for a lifetime.”
Miceli added he was grateful to the Girl Scout and high school volunteers who helped make the event so successful.
