Stephanie M. Stilz, former Monroe resident, dies at age 72
Stephanie M. Stilz, formerly of Monroe, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at her home in Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. She was 72.
Daughter of the late Edward and Maria T. Carrazzone Bava, she was born June 25, 1940, in Hauppauge, N.Y.
Stephanie was the owner of Stephanie's Treasures in Monroe.
Survivors include her daughters, Stacey M. Rizzo and her husband, William, of Monroe, and Dawn S. Castaldi and her companion, Carl Grady, of Glen Rock, N.J.; son, Edward Gley and his wife, Shannon, of Cape Coral, Fla.; brother, Kenneth Bava of Belfast, Maine; grandchildren, Rebecca Worthington and her husband, Chris, Bobby Castaldi, Sabrina Castaldi, Richard Gley, and Alexis Gley; and her great-grandchild, Justice Worthington.
Visitation was held on July 7 at Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush Funeral Home, Monroe. A Funeral Mass was celebrated July 9 at St. Columba Church, Chester. Interment followed at Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah, N.J.
