Eighth annual Pine Tree Coffee House fund raiser set for April 13
MONROE — In what has grown into a yearly tradition, talented area musicians will be entertaining attendees at the eighth annual Pine Tree Coffee House on Friday, April 13, at 7 p.m.
The event – dubbed a “parents’ night out” – will take place at Pine Tree Elementary School in Monroe.
The coffee house is more than just a spring evening’s diversion: Over the years, the event has raised tens of thousands of dollars for Our Father’s Kitchen, the Monroe-based food pantry based at the Sacred Heart Chapel on Stage Road.
“The Pine Tree community is pleased once again to be playing a role in helping those in need,” said event organizer Robin White, who will be among the evening’s entertainers. “For almost a decade, the Pine Tree Coffee House has given parents a way to contribute to this worthy cause while relaxing and enjoying some truly wonderful music.”
In addition to the entertainment, a wide range of delectable snacks and beverages will be available.
Although the event is free of charge, there will be opportunities for attendees to make donations and purchase raffle tickets for a variety of exciting and valuable gift baskets.
