TUXEDO — An orientation for parents of children entering the George Grant Mason School in September as kindergarten students will be held Thursday, Jan. 16.

This is the first of two components of Tuxedo Kindergarten Registration for the 2014-15 school year.

The second component is the kindergarten screening/registration held on Thursday, April 24.

The parent orientation this coming Thursday will acquaint parents with teachers, the school nurse, the school day and provide aid in the process of completing the registration packet which will be distributed at the time of the orientation.

All completed packets are due back the day of your child’s screening/registration appointment.

The screening/registration allows parents the opportunity to register his/her child and to have the child go through the screening process to determine the child’s readiness for school. This appointment can be made on the day of the parent orientation.
